The brief/project
Further to the development of a site by our client we were asked to measure the boundaries and prepare Land Registry compliant plans in order to create ten new titles of ownership for each of the new flats
The solution
Combining our survey of the site boundary with information from Ordnance Survey and Land Registry, as well as drawings provided by the client, we worked to produce ownership plans suitable for submission to Land Registry. Each title consisted of two plans – one showing the individual flat and its parking spaceĀ in relation to the site as a whole, and one showing the layout and ownership of the flat within the building. An overall plan also showing shared accesses and rights of way was also produced
The outcome
A total of twenty-five plans were produced for the client, allowing them to successfully register the titles with Land Registry through their solicitor. Once agreed, the flats were able to be put up for sale
