LDS were initially asked to carry out a topographic survey of this plot in preparation for a planning application to demolish the existing building and replace it with a 27-bed care home fit for purpose
The solution
Our topographic survey was provided to the client’s architects who designed the proposed new building and submitted to planning. Once approval for the scheme was obtained, LDS were provided with the architect’s designs and asked to assist at various stages of the construction, liaising with the architect and project manager throughout
The outcome
LDS made a total of 24 site visits over the course of the build to provide the key information necessary at each stage of construction. Having survey control supplied by LDS meant that the build could proceed according to the designs and agreed planning conditions
